Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to complete the course?
Each module has around 20 minutes of instruction and about 50 minutes of weekly vocal exercises or homework. That being said every person's life and time commitments are different and access to the materials is instant and will last for your duration in the program, unless you sign up for the 12 month membership where lifetime access is included.
Is 1:1 coaching included?
Private coaching is not included in this program but you can get 20% off private coaching with me while a part of the program.
When do the live coaching calls take place?
The coaching calls take place on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 5:30pm PST.
Monthly workshops will usually be held on a Wednesday opposite from the coaching calls at 4:30pm PST but may differ if it's being hosted by a guest speaker.
What's the cancellation policy?
Monthly Membership: The monthly membership can be canceled at any time. Due to the nature of the content provided, there are no refunds for payments already made.
6- and 12-Month Memberships: There are no refunds on the 6- or 12-month options due to the nature of the content and bonuses provided. When you commit to these plans, you gain access to exclusive resources and bonuses that cannot be prorated or returned. Please consider your commitment carefully before purchasing.
Do I get lifetime access to the course material?
If you sign up for the 12 month membership, you have lifetime access to the course materials. For all other options, you have access to the course material as long as you are in The Empowered Vocalist Academy.
Are there any prerequisites?
The ability to match pitch and the absence of any vocal pathologies is really important for your success in this program. If you currently struggle with matching pitch or have vocal damage (nodules, polyps) I recommend booking coaching on a 1:1 basis.
What's the difference between the free community and the paid options?
The free community includes access to general discussions, community support, and limited free resources.

I’ve been singing for the past 25+ years and love posting singing tips and documenting my own vocal journey on YouTube.
I have a degree in vocal performance and since I started teaching pop/contemporary singing 7 years ago, I’ve taught hundreds of singers and thousands of voice lessons across a variety of genres.
